I still love NOT camping

I finally gave in and went camping last weekend with Gray. I was fresh home from family time and in a good mood. My husband took advantage of that. Grayson volunteered to work at a beach volleyball tournament in Seaside but conveniently left out the fact that all the hotels were booked... I about died when I found out we would have to tent it. We left Friday afternoon and spent some time checking out Cannon Beach.
These rocks are the ones from the movie 'Goonies'
I feel almost famous

Then we headed over to Seaside where we spent the night in a tent...on the ground...in very cold weather. PLUS it rained! While it was only a slight drizzle it kept me awake with images of flash floods and my tent out at sea. On a side note we did sleep on an air mattress (is that really roughing it?) and I was close to a flushing toilet and showers so I managed to make it through the horrendous ordeal. I had a fun time the next day sitting on the sunny beach watching the AVP players hit the sand. I certainly became a fan of men's beach volleyball! I guess that's what Gray gets for taking me camping...hee hee!

That's so cool that you got to see the rocks from the Goonies, now I feel like I am also famous through you!
