It has been many moons since I last wrote and I decided I needed to post once more in April. The funny thing is that I seriously have very little going on in my crazy life so you'll just have to bare with me while I try to sound interesting.

Something bit me the other day while I was walking through the isles of Baby Gap....I have totally been hit with the baby bug! That's a secret that we can't tell Gray because he is more scared of having kids than wrestling with a bear. I don't know if it was something I ate or watching Marley and Me (all the babies and tears about did me in) but I seriously have been considering.... Maybe its the fact that EVERYONE is pregnant (My old roommie Kendall, Kinsey, Abby, sis in law Natalie, Lacey, Jill, Rachel, Jill, Dani...) or has just had a baby. CONGRATS by the way to Jess and Griff Price (with big sis Sophie) on their cute bundle of sugar, Amelia Jane and I can't forget Renee and Matt Brandley(with big bro Jonas) welcoming a healthy boy that they named Gibson Ralph. These two girls are my very besties and for so long we did everything together and now I am falling behind. Example- Jess and Renee: 2 each.... Diana: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Also my good friend Sarah has the most adorable little girl KaeLynn that I could just eat up. I need an extra dose of birth control considering that the pill and my job don't seem to be keeping the feelings away. Now don't go and get too excited. We are completely broke and I have 20 lbs to lose before I can even dream about a baby BUT once your bit you can't stop the itch! Yikes.

As for those 20 lbs I was mentioning I am in dire need of a mega reality check. I have gained soooo much weight since we moved here and I already had a few to lose before. For reals I am having a hard time putting my shoes and socks on lately. I decided to go hard core and broke out an exercise video that I have had for a coon's age. It is called the Caribbean Workout. Not so bad sounding eh? Oh kick my trash hard. It is like Turbo Jam and Ti Bo and Yoga and Pilates all in one. The chick is like a gymnist on crack and I can barely keep up for 20 minutes. The first time I did it I collapsed in a pile of sweat and dumb bells and stayed there for an hour. The second time I seriously questioned my sanity and the third time I decided I am totally uncoordinated. But for some reason I keep going back for more. However when I weighed myself on Saturday I had gained 3 more lbs! I guess popcorn and chippies as a fourth (midnight) meal need to be cut out of the equation.
On a serious note I have been pondering why spinach and peas taste so nasty. Why can't good food taste good? I mean I love some fruit and a few veggies but I am a huge chip and pop fan with a weakness for chocolate. SO I have decided that I am going to post what I eat everyday. I wrote it down for a few days and I was so embarrassed to see what I was eating that I stopped eating junk but then I stopped writing it down too and I ended up with french fries and gummy bears for dinner. Ahhhh. I do know what has caused this downfall though....my job! I stress about that place more than anything and there are days when I wish I could cut my finger or break a leg so I won't have to go. Instead I just eat junk. But with you as my witness I am gonna cut down on the goodies and cut up on my exercise. I will keep you "post"ed.

We spent the afternoon at the beach by the airport. It was a beautiful day (in the 80s) and I love being close to the water!

Ummm...french fries and gummy bears for dinner-nothing wrong with that- it sounds DELICIOUS! Screw the 20lbs and get pregnant Diana...(everybody's doin' it...!) I'm totally joking. You need to avoid baby Gap. Baby Gap could make a 55 post- menopausal lady want a baby! Good luck deciding...:)

I agree with the spinach and peas...they taste like soot and poop. Why not try eating some broccoli or cucumbers or lettuce instead? Yesterday I ate a whole cucumber to myself. No lie! It was deeee-licious. But seriously Di-Di, don't try to eat foods you can't keep down.

As for the chips and pop, my best advice is to chew on a substitute, like Nicorette for cigarettes. Try eating rice cake chips and mixing Crystal Light w/ water. Fake it 'til you make it honey!!

(ps-I bet you have a pretty decent rack now at least...kudos!)

Ha Ha that picture of Grayson is hilarious! Seriously you caught the bug! Make sure Grayson has it too! Miss you oh and I need to go on a diet too, we should do it together!

You're not behind!!!! You've only been married over a year. Griff and I waited 5 before having Soph. It's fun having time with each other. But if it's time, it's time. The Lord will prompt you - and if you still need to convince Gray, go to the temple together. That's what worked with Griff! :)

You have just got to TRY to love good food. Canned spinach bits are super salty and could almost sub for chips late at night with ZERO calories! You can do it. I can do it. We all can do it.
