Tomorrow Gray and I are off to Canada! Words cannot express how excited I am to go home. I get to see my brother Jordan who just got back from his mission in Argentina plus all my sisters will be there! Also it is Magrath Days! Candy parade, tractor races, and fireworks. Ahhh I am so lucky.

While I am no green thumb, I must brag about my recent (and only) success with gardening. It all started with a small and insignificant tomato plant I picked up at a ward activity. I was pretty sure I was going to kill my little plant. The first few weeks were touch and go BUT I remained faithful to my routine of morning/night watering and loving. To my delight I woke up to a new addition. I think it took about a month for this beautiful tomato to appear and again while I am not crossing my fingers that I will get more, I am kinda tickled green that I was able to keep my plant alive this long. The last plant I had died in a week. I mean who knew you were suppose to water a plant everyday?

Ooh I almost bought a tomato plant this year but didn't because I shouldn't waste money on something i'd kill in a week. But good for you, maybe deep down this is saying you are ready for kids, you know if you can keep a plant alive... I'm just saying... Have fun in Canada, wish were were still there!
Good work! Travis is jealous--he is a very picky tomato person and does not like store-bought ones. Have fun in Canada!
But who's going to water your little tomato while you're in Canada?
