And a cherry on top!

We have actually been quite busy these past few weeks but of course I was super sick. I think I went to work and I am pretty sure we went back to Canada for a wedding but who knows. I have been so out of it.
For reals though we had a great time back home and enjoyed Cassidy (Gray's sister) and Jeff's wedding. However we did NOT enjoy the 18 hour train ride there and back. I got re-sick on the way to Canada and was horribly ill all weekend. The trip back was pretty dreadful too. I mean the train is so not the place you want to be when you are wheezing and sneezing. I could go on forever about the nastiness of that experience but I will save that for the few of you who still think train rides are romantic and mystifying.
Unfortunately the next day I was bedridden again with the stomach flu. To spare the details let's just say that Hollywood should pay me millions cause I figured out how to lose 5 lbs. in a day. The point is I just can't seem to get better. Ah well. Hopefully the hustle and bustle of this season will heal me because this is my favorite time of year.

We are just tickled that we get to go home again in two weeks for a long relaxing break. We are so excited to be able to visit our families and see good friends. Plus all the shopping and eating and wrapping and playing has got to do my body good...right?
